As an Online PR Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our off-page SEO efforts, crafting and executing strategic link-building and outreach campaigns that earn valuable, high-quality backlinks to elevate our clients’ online web presence and authority.
You will also support a larger SEO strategy by finding and coordinating with relevant bloggers, website managers, and industry thought leaders to help our clients promote their content.
Ultimately, this role offers the opportunity to combine creative thinking with data analysis and in-depth research to craft strategies that achieve measurable results in driving traffic, growth, and awareness across various industry verticals.
Responsibilities
- Drive targeted traffic, growth, awareness, and links to client websites and content by developing and implementing ethical and creative promotion and link-building campaigns aligned with client goals.
- Conduct in-depth media research to identify relevant industry link-building prospects such as informational outlets, website editors, bloggers, writers, thought leaders and other potential link partners.
- Build and maintain a robust database of key prospect contacts for outreach campaigns.
- Manage and craft compelling outreach email campaigns and personalized pitches that resonate with targeted prospects.
- Monitor website backlink profiles, identify and address potential issues, and ensure a healthy and authoritative link portfolio.
- Study and stay up-to-date on the latest PR and link-building trends, tools, techniques, and algorithm updates.
- Collaborate with Content and SEO teams to brainstorm and develop engaging, link-worthy content.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft persuasive outreach pitch campaigns and build strong relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired skills
- Familiarity with SEO tools (eg. Ahrefs, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, etc.) is a plus
- Previous experience in SEO, digital agency or online marketing environment is a bonus.
